About Us

The Lindy Farms name has been synonymous with racing greatness and integrity for over 40 years. Over these 40 years Lindy Racing has developed a tradition unlike any other in the sport of Harness Racing. Lindy Farms has been involved in the ownership of 5 Hambletonian winners (the greatest number of any ownership) and countless other champions. The Hambo winners are Lindy’s Pride, Speedy Crown, Probe, Harmonious, and Victory Dream. Along with these Hambo winners Lindy Farms was involved with four second place finishers; MB Felty, Cantab Hall, Lucky Chucky and Crazed.

Along with all the success in the Hambletonian the greatest racing achievements were garnered by Lindy Farms and the World’s Greatest Standardbred of all time Moni Maker. Moni Maker retired as the richest standardbred of all time with over $5.5 million in earnings. She is also the richest female racehorse of all time regardless of breed. Moni Maker was a World Champion in the truest of sense. She raced and won in 7 different countries and two continents she was dubbed the “Queen” no matter where she raced. Moni Maker had 67 career victories but her greatest may have been that in the Prix d’ Amerique which is the most grueling test of greatness and had always been dominated by aged French studs. She won the race by open lengths becoming the first and last American horse to do so since 1974. The racing tradition at Lindy Farms was started by Guy “Sonny” Antonacci. A native of Brooklyn Sonny loved the races at Roosevelt and it was not long until he bought his first racehorse with many of his cousins who had the same itch. It was not long after his first purchase that he bought a horse named Galahad Hanover. Who was renamed Lindy’s Pride and became Lindy Farms first Hambo winner and a Triple Crown winner.

The racing tradition has been continued by the next generations at Lindy Farms. Guy’s two sons now run the racing and breeding farm that carries the Lindy banner. Frank and Jerry Antonacci have a great passion for the sport of Harness racing and are actively involved in promoting the industry. Frank and Jerry have always sought to achieve excellence on and off the race track following in the tradition Sonny began in the early 1960’s.

The youngest generations of Antonacci’s is also proudly involved in harness racing and carry on the Lindy tradition. Guy, Sara, Matthew, Philip, Christopher and Frank M. are all active participants in the game. Frank M. is also the trainer of the Lindy Farms racing Stable.

The racing tradition has had a very strong recent history with 3 World Champions over the last two years; Crazed 1:53.2, Airzoom Lindy 1:53.1 and Highscore Kemp the fastest 3 year old trotting filly of all time 1:51.4.
